Our Easter 2009

We had a very nice Easter this year.  We had some beautiful weather to go along with it.  Mya had 2 egg hunts and LOVED them!  She was so excited for the Easter Bunny to come to our house too and get her Easter Basket.

Egg Hunt

We had the first Egg hunt on Friday at a park with our ward.  It was hard to keep Mya patient while the eggs were being hidden.  She was way too excited to run around and pick up all the eggs.

She had to check out what was inside and was happy to find chocolate!

Easter Morning

When Mya woke up on Easter morning her first words were "Easter Bunny!"  and she pointed to her jammies.  I got her special bunny jammies for the special day.  She was so excited to go downstairs and see what the Easter Bunny left her.

A princess dress!  YAY!!!

She had to "try on" the "bootiful princess dress and glubs!"  She's been wearing this dress everyday since.  It's the first thing she asks for in the morning!

Such a pretty princess!

She loved looking in her baskets!  There were so many fun things to find!

Another Egg Hunt

After Church we came home to find the Easter Bunny hid all of our eggs in the backyard.  Mya was so happy to go on another egg hunt!  This time she had them ALL to herself!  Her bunny basket got too full so we had to pull out the BIG basket!

This is Mya's new pose.  She always wants to tilt!  Such a funny girl! :)

Carrying the BIG basket with her haul of eggs!

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter and remembered what the day is truly about - our Savior and His resurrection.
