Random

Well, since not much is going on I thought I would post a few random things. :)  

Here I am at 20 weeks and 5 days prego.  Not the best picture (I don't like taking prego pictures but I do it for posterity's sake) but at least you can see how HUGE I already am!

 I can't do a post without a couple of pictures of Mya!  I loved what I put her in today so I took a few pictures.  Girl stuff is so cute and fun!!

We decided to try our hand (or green thumbs) at gardening this year.  Ok, so it's not really a garden but we will call it that just for fun!! :)  We planted some tomato plants in a big pot.  Our soil isn't the best here in Vegas so we thought a big pot with nice soil would work.  So far so good!  The plants are now more than double in size and flowering like crazy!  We even have a few tiny green tomatoes starting.  I can't wait to have yummy home grown tomatoes to eat!!

So, there you go, a few random things!  I've just thought of a few more but I will save them for another post! :)

Our Easter 2009

We had a very nice Easter this year.  We had some beautiful weather to go along with it.  Mya had 2 egg hunts and LOVED them!  She was so excited for the Easter Bunny to come to our house too and get her Easter Basket.

Egg Hunt

We had the first Egg hunt on Friday at a park with our ward.  It was hard to keep Mya patient while the eggs were being hidden.  She was way too excited to run around and pick up all the eggs.

She had to check out what was inside and was happy to find chocolate!

Easter Morning

When Mya woke up on Easter morning her first words were "Easter Bunny!"  and she pointed to her jammies.  I got her special bunny jammies for the special day.  She was so excited to go downstairs and see what the Easter Bunny left her.

A princess dress!  YAY!!! 

She had to "try on" the "bootiful princess dress and glubs!"  She's been wearing this dress everyday since.  It's the first thing she asks for in the morning!

Another Egg Hunt

After Church we came home to find the Easter Bunny hid all of our eggs in the backyard.  Mya was so happy to go on another egg hunt!  This time she had them ALL to herself!  Her bunny basket got too full so we had to pull out the BIG basket!

Easter Dress

So, I already posted some of these pics on my new Easter blog header but I thought I would post them bigger because I thought they turned out so cute.  Mya absolutely LOVES her Easter dress.  She calls it her princess dress and thinks that it's fun to twirl in.  I think it looks so pretty on her.  We had fun taking these pictures.  Mya liked posing for the camera and saying cheese but I had a hard time getting her to give me a full smile.  

We are looking forward to Easter.  I think Mya is going to have so much fun hunting for eggs this year!  There will be more Easter posts to come so keep checking back!

We are having a...

BOY!!!

We are so excited to announce that we are having a baby boy!  Boy was my very first impression and the one that always came to mind when I would think about the baby.  So I wasn't very surprised when the ultrasound tech told us the great news!  Although having another girl would be easier on the pocketbook we are looking forward to our little guy joining our family!  It will be fun having one of each!

Boy or Girl - Any guesses?

We go in for our ultrasound on Monday the 6th!  I've set up a poll on the sidebar so make your picks now!  We are really excited to find out what this baby will be!  I have a hunch but I won't share until after we get the results.  Now go and VOTE!!  I will post our results when I get home on Monday from the appointment!! :)
