Yes it is!!

I will be adding new posts to catch up on my blog. I know, it's about time! :^)

After I get all my new posts up I will change the dates so they are in chronological order but for now they will show up as new posts!!

July 2010

I love the month of July! Independence day is my very favorite holiday and July also happens to be my birthday month!!

This year we went to Kanab for the 4th of July festivities. A parade, playing at the park, some family time, lots of fireworks, Brandon's high school reunion and a trip to Lake Powell! We had so much fun!!

These two were inseparable the entire weekend. They are such good friends!

I love these pics of Liam with 2 of his cousins Cole and Makenna. Being the baby of the family Liam got lots of attention and he LOVED it!!

Brandon's class reunion

Brandon, Ben, John and Rod. These guys are a bunch of goofballs!! When they get together they instantly become teenagers again. Haha!! It was fun hanging out with the guys and their wives. I wish we could do it more often. (Jessica & Chelsea - Next time we need to get a pic of the girls!! :)

A Day at Lake Powell

We had so much fun going out on the boat. My bro-in-law Ben even let me drive! It was so awesome - I got to drive really fast!! Seriously it was so awesome!! Brandon rode on the tube a few times and then at the end when we were heading back to shore we put Mya on the tube(going slow) and she LOVED it!! She still talks about Ben's boat and riding on the tube!!

(Tiff-if you're reading this would you see if you can find the pics of Mya on the tube. We used the camera that was on your boat. I would love to have those pics!! :^)

8 months old

I need to get this posted before my little guy turns 9 months!! Ooops!!

Mya lovin' on her baby brother! So sweet!!

I LOVE this picture! Liam loves to chew and bite this play food chicken leg. I think it's so funny to see such a little guy chowing down on a chicken leg!

Liam is doing so many fun new things lately. He is really learning alot and is so much fun to play with.

New Tricks: baby push ups - he pushes up on his and and toes and sticks his bum in the air - so cute!!, gets on his ands and knees in the crawl position and rocks back and forth really fast like he is ready to take off (I'm guessing he will be crawling very soon!!), sits himself up, rolls and scoots himself around, scoots backwards, clicks his tongue, smacks his lips

Likes: bananas and anything with bananas in it, sweet potatoes, playing with toys by himself, having his big sis make him giggle, snuggling with momma, relaxing with Daddy, balls, when Mya sings to him (his favorites right now are Bibbity Bobbity Boo and It's a Small World - they will almost always calm him down), when Mommy/Mya dances crazy, playing peek-a-boo

Doesn't Like: getting dressed, sitting in his car seat for very long, when momma leaves the room, cutting teeth

Fun Facts: He has 4 teeth. He cut his bottom 2 first, then 1 of his top teeth, and the other top tooth just poked through. I just LOVE seeing his toothy grin!

His hair is definitely blonde (it may look red in the pics but that's just the camera playing tricks on you!!) and is in the crazy sticking up all over phase!! :)

He has found his voice and loves to use it! Lots of loud shrieking and chitter chatter. He says Dada alot. I'm still working on getting him to say Momma!! :)

He is very ticklish and gives the cutest giggles!

He likes food but isn't in a hurry to eat it. He will take a bite and then wait sometimes a minute of so before he wants another bite. It makes for long feeding sessions.

I love getting him out of bed when he wakes up. I always get lots of snuggles and he will pat me on my back - it's so my favorite!!

Easter Photo Shoot

I dressed up the kiddos in their Easter duds and went to my favorite little park for some Easter pics. I LOVE outdoor pictures. The weather was beautiful that day and I think I got a few cute ones. These two are growing up so fast! They sure are fun to hang out with all day!

We had a fun Easter. I will do another post on our Easter activities soon so check back.

Oh my! I love these kiddos!

My 6th month old!

Happy Half-Birthday to Liam! I can't believe my baby is 6 months old!! (I'm way behind posting this - oops!!)

At his 6 month check up he was:

Height: 25 inches

Weight: 13 lbs. 5 oz.

Nicknames: Bud, Buddy, Bubs, Bubby, tiny guy, little man (he may think his name is Buddy - just like Mya thought her name was Baby for awhile -oops!! :)

His hair is mostly a soft brown color but looks like it is getting lighter and is even blonde in areas. His eyes are a deep brown - just like momma's.

He's been sitting up (on his own for a few seconds and for long periods with a little support from the Boppy) and rolling (mostly from back to side to tummy - still working on tummy to back.) He loves to be on his tummy and pushes up so he is almost in the "crawl position". He is a very observant baby and loves to check everything out. He does NOT like to eat from a spoon so he won't eat cereal or baby food yet. He always pushes the spoon away - it's kind of funny! (UPDATE: He finally ate peas from a spoon yesterday - I was so happy!! It only took me a month of trying!)

We sure do love our little guy! He is such a fun and sweet baby and we are so happy he is part of our family!

Daddy's Birthday!

We celebrated Daddy's birthday with a pizza party, a yummy cake that Mya helped make and lots of wii playing!

Liam is 4 months old

Liam turned 4 months in January. We sure do love our little guy! He is getting so big and learning to do new things everyday. He loves to laugh at his big sister and talk. Mommy loves having long conversations with him.

4 months stats-

Height: 24 3/4 inches

Weight: 12 pounds 4 ounces

He loves his stuffed doggy, talking, getting his diaper changed, standing and sitting up, holding onto and chewing on anything he can get his little hands on, swinging, sitting with Daddy and Mya.

He doesn't like baths, binkies, having clothes pulled over his head.

Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam

Mya is officially a Sunbeam. She LOVES going to Primary with all the other "big" kids. She loves singing time and her teachers!

Dance Time

We started Mya in a dance class. It's a 1 hour class of ballet and tap and goes for 6 weeks. She loves it and does really well when she pays attention. I'm not crazy about the teacher so we will be putting her in another class next time.

Snow Day

We got some snow one day in January! It rained for most of the morning but turned to snow in the afternoon. The ground was so wet from all the rain that the snow didn't stick very well and it was mostly a very wet snow. But Mya loved it anyway and thought playing in the backyard while it was snowing was lots of fun! It's hard to see the snow in the pictures but it was coming down pretty good. It's always fun when it snows in Vegas!!

I'm a BIG girl now!

Mya is officially potty trained! I couldn't be more thrilled!! It was all her idea One day she came downstairs with panties in her hand and said she wanted to wear them. Then she went and sat on the potty. We sang the potty song and did the potty dance and gave lots of hugs and high fives! She was so excited! She goes all by herself and only had a couple of accidents. She's even waking up dry! We love our BIG girl! Next challenge is getting her to sit on the big potty!
